LEP High Portland's Leadership and Entrepreneurship Public Charter High School

Evening Program

The evening school program at LEP is a credit recover program for students transferring from other schools or for students for whom LEP day school is not working. Some students apply to LEP in the middle of the grading period and may be joining us too late to earn credit, but still want to be in school. Evening school is a great option for these students, as well.

Students earn credit through an online program, as well as through credit by exam and small group learning activities. Evening School students are expected to complete some of their work outside of school hours, so they are considered full-time students and are not able to enroll in a day program at the same time.

LEP High Evening Program is a place where students…

  • Make up missing high school credits
  • Work in a self-paced environment, taking as much or as little time as they need to move forward toward high school graduation
  • Earn credits, regardless of when in the academic year they may enroll
